One Door Mental Health Symposium 2021
One Door Mental Health will be hosting our annual symposium through a mix of in-person and online events during Schizophrenia Awareness Week (SAW) in our centres across the state from Monday 24th until Friday 28th May.
For many years, the One Door Symposium has been the perfect platform to launch SAW and bring together some of the leading researchers, advocates, industry leaders and people we support to share the latest insights into mental health.
This year we will bring back the focus to schizophrenia with the aim to reduce stigma, encourage inclusive behaviour, bust myths, and promote help-seeking by people with lived experience and their loved ones.
During the week, we will discuss topics such as System reform, Peer-supported Open Dialogue approach, Aboriginal mental health, Carers mental health, perinatal psychosis and improving the cardiometabolic health of people living with serious mental disorders.
